But even if you know how to write a press release, you are only half way there. One of the most important thing you need to know about press releases is how to submit your press release. Optimize your keyword
Obviously the most important factors for how a press release is found online, is the keywords used in it. If you want to gain great exposure, you have to optimize your keywords for search engines. Just like an article or your blog that you do keyword optimization for, for a press release to be effective, it needs to be optimized as well. Be sure to use your keyword(s) in the title and the summary of your press release. Use the keyword (not excessively) in the body of your press release.

Use Anchor text links
Not all press release distribution sites allow anchor text link. but many do. Take advantage of the one that do allow it and use your main keywords a your anchor text link pointing back to your targeted pages.

Submit your press release to quality press release sites
This is one of the most crucial parts of your work. There are hunderds of press release sites out there, but not all of them have the power to give you good results. It’s better to submit your press release to a few good press release sites, than submitting it to thunderer of low quality press release sites. We all know the power of Google and everything related to it. That’s why I would suggest that you at least take the time to make sure that the press release sites you are planning to use are indexed by Google news. Such a sites are more likely to give you the kind of exposure you are trying to get by publishing a press release.

Writing a good press release and submitting it may not take you more than a few hours, but the impacts that it will have will last for a long long time. That’s basically it, this is how you submit an online press release.
