Learning how to make money with AdSense is one of the fastest ways to make your first buck online. However, simply writing articles and slapping AdSense code on a webpage isn’t enough.kahovka-service
To earn with AdSense you’ll need to master 4 Internet marketing skills:
Try Swagbucks, the famous rewards program that pays you for watching videos, taking surveys, shopping and more.
Keyword selection may be the most important part of earning from Google AdSense. Why?
Because your keywords largely determine:
Ideally, you want to choose keywords that have a high CPC. However, these keywords tend to be more competitive in Google and therefore harder to drive traffic towards.
That’s why you want to find “underground” keywords that have a lucrative CPC but don’t have a Great Wall of competition on Google’s first page. You can do this by opening up Google’s Keyword Tool and entering a few root keywords that have a well-established high CPC.
Here are some high CPC root keywords to get you started:
Power Tip: The CPC that the keyword tool shows isn’t always accurate. For a more accurate assessment of how much you can earn from AdSense clicks use the Google Contextual Keyword tool.
If you have to only sign up for one paid survey site to make money with, I recommend Ipsos-iSay. Ipsos is the most fun and well-paying panel. Give it a try to see how you like it. It is free anyway!
Here is what you’ll see:
Choose a handful of keywords from the list that have a fairy low search volume (~2000 exact match searches per month).
Now it’s time to create content around your chosen keywords. You can post these on your own website. But what if you don’t have a website?…
Don’t worry, you can still make money with AdSense even without a website of your own. One way is to use revenue sharing sites, like Hubpages, Suite101 or Infobarrel.com. Simply post your content to these AdSense revenue sharing sites. Everything else stays the same.
No matter where you post your content, follow these guidelines to make your content SEO friendly (which we’ll get to later):
If you’re just starting out you may want to start posting your content on revenue sharing sites until you learn how to properly set up an SEO-friendly website.
No matter where your content hangs out you need it to rank highly in Google, Bing and Yahoo! in order to generate traffic to your site and clicks on your AdSense ads. The most effective way to do that is to build high quality backlinks to your site.
Here are some backlink strategies that I use for my AdSense-monetized sites:
SEO does take time, but if you’re patient and consistent, you can get your content to the top of Google.
Once you start driving some quality search traffic to your site, it’s time to improve your CTR. In general, you want to have one large ad block above the fold, another imbedded inside of your content and one more block towards the bottom of your article.
Here is an example of how that layout would look on an actual site:
Unfortunately, there’s no way to split test AdSense ads for CTR. The only way to test is by changing your layout, waiting to see if there’s any change in CTR, and refining as needed.
Power Tip: When you start testing, use completely different page layouts, link colors etc. When you find a basic layout that works well, start refining smaller details.
AdSense really is a great way to earn money. But, like all other online income generating methods, it takes work and commitment to succeed in earning revenue with AdSense as well. And don’t forget, you need to have patience to make money with AdSense.
