If you like chatting online and spend some time in chat rooms, you may like the idea of getting paid to chat online. It sounds crazy and you may wonder why and how would a site pay you to chat with other people.
It’s simple really, having lots of members in any sites means the site can attract advertisers who will spend money placing ads on the site, hoping to turn some of those members into customers. And that is how these paid to chat sites can afford to pay you and I to chat.
Try Swagbucks, the famous rewards program that pays you for watching videos, taking surveys, shopping and more.
How Much Money Can You Actually Make Chatting Online?
Ok, let’s be honest and blunt here, if you are thinking you are gonna be able to quit your day job and pay your bills as a “paid Chatter” (don’t know if that actually is a term or not, probably not!), you may want to rethink your strategy .
However, if you are someone who already does spend a lot of time chatting online or you like talking about different things with strangers, then you may as well take what you can out of it as well.
Honestly, if you already like chatting, you better use these paid to chat sites, so you can at least make a few bucks for something you already do.
Get Paid To Chat Sites
To be honest there aren’t that many of these kinds of sites, so the term “top” is probably not necessary here. But anyway, it sounds much better and it makes them more attractive, lol.
From my research, I have found the following two sites to be the most talked about and thus most widely known paid to chat sites on the Internet.
If you have to only sign up for one paid survey site to make money with, I recommend Ipsos-iSay. Ipsos is the most fun and well-paying panel. Give it a try to see how you like it. It is free anyway!
PaySnork.com
This is the biggest paid chat site out there and apparently is kind of popular. You can chat with your friends and you also have the opportunity to chat with other people through a private chat window.
You earn money based on how much you chat, specifically based on the number of characters you use. So for instance, for every 25 characters or so, you get around US $0.0001. Yeah, it’s not much money at all, but again, if you already use chat rooms, you may as well use one that pays you.
Birejji.com
This is the second biggest paid chat site where you can chat, make and meet new online friends and earn a few dollars doing so. It’s where like minded people who want to learn how to make extra money online can meet and chat about their experiences and methods they use to make money. So, it actually can be beneficial since you can learn about other methods people use to earn extra cash.
Basically, you register and choose a village to join. There is this thing called a “pot” which is basically the amount of money any given village has and your earnings depends on the pot value and how many people are in that village and how much you participate.
You can also earn extra by referring other people. While you chat, you can see your earnings next to the chat box and if you really are into chatting hours a day, you could make a few dollars a day.
They pay via PayPal with a minimum of $0.25 and Alertpay with a minimum of $1.00.
These are the only 2 sites I could find. To be honest, I don’t recommend you waste your time with either of these if you are actually trying to find a way to make real money online. Just like other similar money making methods such as paid to upload or paid to search, you won’t make make that much money with these sites.
However, if you already do chat online or want to start chatting in chat rooms, then you may as well get paid to chat.
