If you’ve heard of Fusion Cash, you probably know it’s a GPT (Get Paid To) site, just like Swgbucks, that pays you to take surveys and sign up for trial offers (usually lasting about 30 days) like every good survey site should. Fusion Cash is not a scam. It is a legitimate survey site that does pay its members.
Try Swagbucks, the famous rewards program that pays you for watching videos, taking surveys, shopping and more.
Before we go any further, I should mention one thing – I have seen some people mistake this site as a PTC (Paid To Click) site. While PTC and GPT sites are somewhat similar programs, FC doesn’t have any PTC offers. If you are looking for legit PTC sites, check out this page.
Earning cash
This site will pay you anywhere between $5 and $20 for your surveys and completed offers, just remember to cancel trial memberships before they’re active or you may end up with some monthly bills that you weren’t expecting.
However, cash isn’t the only thing being offered here. You can also earn rewards for doing your normal surveys and offers and even for shopping at certain online stores. Though most of the offers you’ll sign up for won’t bother asking for credit card information, some do so that if you decide to keep a service you can be billed right away. Because of this you should keep a good record of what you’ve signed up for and when the trial ends, so you can cancel before billing begins.
If you’re not comfortable doing trial offers or giving out credit card info, you can still earn some cash using Fusion Cash, it’ll just take a little longer to earn the $25 needed to request a payment.
Rewards
The site offers two types of rewards; instant and non-instant. The kind you earn will depend on the type of surveys you do. Instant rewards will typically show up in just a few minutes after doing a survey, where as non-instant may take a couple of days. Either way you get your rewards, and who can complain when you’re dealing with familiar companies like Ghirardelli Chocolate, NASCAR, Netflix, Victoria’s Secret, and Volkswagen?…
Tips
Typically the best paying offers are going to be those that want you to buy a product, subscribe to a service, or pay a small shipping fee. If the thing you’re being asked to buy is something you wanted to get already, this is a great way to go about it. You can earn rewards and get the cool stuff you want at the same time.
The rewards points are great too. You can get these for doing the stuff you’d normally do on the site, like log-in or even posting on the forums. Of course, taking surveys and letting friends know about the site will earn you points too, making even the little things you do exciting and worth returning to.
If you have to only sign up for one paid survey site to make money with, I recommend Ipsos-iSay. Ipsos is the most fun and well-paying panel. Give it a try to see how you like it. It is free anyway!
Downsides
No great thing is free of its downsides and Fusion Cash is no exception. After checking out common complaints I found that two were the most frequently listed.
- The first issue people have with the site is that after 90 days of account inactivity any money or rewards you had saved up in there were gone. I can certainly understand why that’s not a popular policy.
- The second was that people were accused of violating the terms and conditions and thus had their accounts suspended without any real explanation of what they had done.
To make sure this doesn’t happen to you, actually read the terms and conditions so you know what mistakes to avoid. Do this for both Fusion Cash and for the surveys you take. Of course, the number one reason surveys are not counted is because people rush through them. Take your time and give honest complete answers, if for no other reason than to make sure your efforts count.
Unfortunately, at the moment Fusion Cash is only accepting accounts from users in the United States. As you likely know, there are a few other survey sites with a more global focus that you can try out if you’d like to make some money from home.
Getting paid
With Fusion Cash, just as with QuickRewards.net, it’s easy to get the money you’ve earned. While you do have to reach $25 in your account before you can withdraw your earnings, making money on FC is so easy that they even give you $5 just for signing up. Once you’re ready to make a withdraw you can request a payment through PayPal, direct deposit, or just have them send you a check.
To date the site has paid over $2,000,000 to survey takers with the typical payments being around $71 per person on average. As an additional perk the company is not just registered with the Better Business Bureau, but maintains an A+ standing with the BBB.
In order to prevent misuse of the site and fraud each account must be verified by using either a valid telephone number or a fax. While the extra step can be irritating for some, it does help the site maintain a high standard and thus keeps itself and its members safe.
Requesting payment
As with many similar sites, when you request a payment it will be delivered on the 20th of the following month. So if you ask for a payment in January it will get to you on February 20th.
As was mentioned before you need at least $25 available to request a payment at least $15 of which must be from offers you’ve completed yourself. This can be a problem if you were hoping to make most of your money from referrals, but it’s a rule that seems to be unique to this site.
Now if you’re still at all worried about getting your money or if you’re not yet convinced of the validity of Fusion Cash you can always take a look at their Flickr page where they have posted pictures of dozens of checks they’ve sent to survey takers just like you.
The bottom line
To be honest, because of its quick turnaround on payments, high rating from the BBB, and its variety of survey options I would highly recommend Fusion Cash as another great option for making some extra cash from home.
